Out of this grew Scoot and Ride. Their passion has taken them so far to 61 countries. This means their products for children aged 1 to 12 are available in more than 61 countries worldwide.

Their Scoot and Ride products are now so popular they are often imitated. They prefer to work on something new and live their philosophy with you here and now.

QUALITY

Scoot and Ride test their products with recognised testing institutes in accordance with the legal requirements specific to each country and comply with the TOYS DIRECTIVE 2009-48-CE and REACH regulations. Their product has been tested according to one or more of the following standards for each category: EN71 / EN14619 / EN 1078 / ASTM F963 / ASTM F2246 / KC / GMARK / AS-NZS ISO 8124. In addition to legal requirements, their products must also match their philosophy, which is why they avoid, for example, PVC and strive to use only materials from certified suppliers.

PRODUCTION

Scoot and Ride have been producing their scooters in their factory in southern China for nine years. The factory is managed by Mr Lee; a second Hong Kong company handles their daily communications (thanks Ricky, Stanley, Lisa, Jim and Armin). Their Jane, who also lives in China, carries out an additional inspection mandated by them before each shipment. Since 2018 they have also been manufacturing their helmets in China and, in future, they will also have a presence in Vietnam. All their direct partners meet voluntary international and additional standards such as ISO 9001, BSCI, ICTI, Bluesign, Ökotex. As an Austrian company, they set their requirements as a goal and are on site every two months, because it is only together that it is best to move towards the future.

RESPONSIBILITY

Scoot and Ride believe that a single product with a long lifespan is the least harmful to the environment. They live their 2-in-1 idea, use the best materials and design their products so they can also be repaired. They strive to use environmentally friendly or recycled materials as much as possible. For example, their trade fair gifts for 2019 are largely made from recycled materials. Optimising supply chains is also an important element, which is why they changed their overseas packing units from two to four and optimised all carton sizes to minimise CO2 emissions. Their aim is to make the shipment of goods even more direct in order to reduce transport journeys.
