    Saline solution for baby’s nose and eyes

    The Gilbert saline solution is a sterile preparation, supplied in 20 unit-dose 5 ml ampoules. It is suitable for babies and adults and is used for daily care: the basic step to keep your baby’s nose clear.

    What is it for?

    • Nasal wash: cleans the nasal cavities, especially before a feeding or bedtime when the baby has a blocked nose.
    • Eye hygiene: rinsing the eye and removing a foreign body.
    • Skin hygiene: cleaning the folds, neck and face.

    How to use it?

    Detach a unit-dose ampoule, open it by twisting the top, then squeeze the body of the ampoule to release the solution. The rounded tip allows safe use. Each unit-dose is for single use only, which ensures a sterile solution for every care session.

    Not for injection.

    Why unit-doses?

    The unit-dose format prevents reusing an opened bottle: each care starts with a sterile solution, and a unit-dose fits easily in the diaper bag.
